Cathy "Susie" Suzzette Davis-Wood, age 54, of Pleasant View, TN, passed away on September 13, 2025. A Clarksville native, Susie was born on January 24, 1971 to James "Buddy" and Bernice Davis. She loved traveling, especially to the Gulf of America, but her most cherished times were those spent with her family.
Susie is preceded in death by her father, James "Buddy" Davis. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Nathan Wood; children, Megan (Tommy Underwood) Wood and Jacob Wood; mother Bernice (Bill) Burton; and siblings, Rusty Davis, Douglas (Kim) Davis, Vicki (Ray) Dodson, and step-brothers Woody and Gary Burton.
A private service will be held by her family. In the meantime, the family encourages anyone that would like to honor Susie, to do so by donating to the Dystonia Research Foundation.

Susie was a bright light to anyone that knew her, her warmth, patience, intelligence and kindness will be missed. I remember the 1st time I heard her laugh out loud, priceless, because she was so soft spoken.
