Not sure what to say?

Our family was very blessed and lucky to have had the wonderful, caring educator in our lives.
Penny Sapp and Family

My daughters were enriched by being in Mrs. Broughton's classroom and my life was enriched by being her colleague and friend at Dunbar Middle. Suzanne left a great legacy through her passion for teaching.

Terry, Allison,Jay and Rob,
Our heartfelt sympathies go out to all of you. We loved Suzanne and althought our paths have not crossed for a few years we will always remember her as the vivacious, caring, loving person that she was. We pray God's blessings on each one of you and cherish the memories of you Allison, Jay and Rob growing up.
Love and blessings,
David and Kay Higgins

She was a wonderful teacher. I will never forget the trips to the Everglades and Sea Camp, or the bake sales, or making dioramas for book reports. We were so lucky to spend three years with her in middle school.

What a darling and charming friend... I was proud to be her interior designer at times in her life... I quote her so many times as she coined this phrase about me..." You taught me safe is never sensational"!!
Her gifts will live on... Thank you Suzanne for all the memories and the fun! You were a breath of fresh air on this crazy earth!
Special love to your wonderful children, Allison , Jay and Rob!
Trey, Dixon and I remember you fondly!!
Lots of love and deepest sympathy...

I remember a strong , beautiful woman with a quirky sense of humor, and a style all her own. This wonderful educator will remain in the minds and hearts of her students forever.

She was the best teacher- I was truly lucky to have had her in my life. So sorry for your loss.

It is a sad day for all that were fortunate enough to have enjoyed the wisdom, guidance, and calm assurances that Suzanne offered. She left an incredible legacy on all of her students and at 35 I'm still enjoying the benefits of being in her classroom.

She is a model for all that is right with teaching and teachers. Her atmosphere of challenging yet meaningful assignments was a breath of fresh air in a system of regulated tests and curriculum.

To her family and especially her...

Allison, Jay, and Rob,

My deepest sympathy to each of you and your families. I loved your mom. She was so full of love, joy, and energy. She made a big impression on me, especially when you all lived in St. Pete - just down the street. I will never forget her kindness.

I will not be able to come down on the 24th, sadly, because I will be on a service trip in South Dakota with students. Know, though, that I'm keeping you in my prayers and am comforted by the thought that your mom...
