July 30, 2005. Wife of the late Grant Cunningham; mother of Grant (Maaike) Cunningham, Maria (Helmut) Turbanisch, Carol (Craig) McGuire, and Beth Cunningham; grandmother of Andra and Kim Cunningham, Donald Turbanisch, Steven Folmar, Anthony Evans, and Haley McGuire; sister of Sandra (Wayne) Baumgartner, Shirley Wessel, and Gary (Sue) Wessel. Family present to receive friends Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the PERNA-PELLEGRINO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1671 Maple Rd., Amherst (between Hopkins Rd. & Youngs), where funeral services will be Wednesday at 9 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Pius X Church at 10 AM. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Park. In lieu fo flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice, Buffalo.

Dear Grant and family,I am Tom Groh's wife.I first met your Mom and you kids in 1967.We were staying with Tom's parents while Tom was finding a house for us in England.Your mother was so kind to us and fun also,she even made me a wedding cake and we had fun eating it even though Tom wasn't there! she was a blessing and I think of her often. My mother will allways be a part of all of us she has touched, as her doctor said " Sue is one in a million!" Thanks to everyone who loved her and helped in many many ways to make her last few months so happy. It has been so hard for all of us this last year we tried to stay strong for mom, But mom stayed strong for us, she never did give up no matter what those doctors told her she said I will show them all. She did to she was ready to go, now we need to let go and remember all the good...
