Such is COVID and time and distance that I didn´t learn of Suzanne´s passing until I saw the announcement in the WSU magazine. I remember her as a colleague who welcomed me to Westfield and who was devoted to her students and the university. She was a strong advocate for both students and colleagues alike!

I only overlapped briefly with Suzanne's time teaching in the Psychology department, so did not know her well; but the thing that sticks out most in my memory is how much her students loved her classes. I remember advising students who would select her class and then work the rest of their entire schedule around that class. It was clear that she was a talented instructor.

As a former colleague at Westfield State, I was very fond of Suzanne. My wife Jacqueline was one of her students and felt the same way. I had a great respect for her as a scholar and teacher and much appreciation of her bright sense of humor. She was a good person. My condolences to those in her family.
