Not sure what to say?

It has been just over two years and I still cannot quite grasp the fact that you're gone. I want to talk to you everyday and hear your voice and laugh, but I am resigned to my slowly fading memories. How I wish I could have recorded all of our moments together so that I could have captured your beauty and your smile. Suzanne, you will be forever missed. I was beyond lucky to have had such an amazing sister like you.

Suzanne: Though our time together was brief, thoughts of you are some of my fondest memories. I will cherish them always. Like a beacon you lit up all those around you with your radiance. My condelences to your family, your loving husband, and your children.

Suzanne...I just tried finding you on FB because I hadnt talked to you in about 5 years but was reminiscing about all our times in Richmond and New Orleans with Copelands. We had such a good time and I was so happy to work next to someone with the same degree as me, from the same school, and share a love of food and feeding people. My heart just fell to find out you were gone just 13 days ago...I was so excited to reconnect and find you again and hear about your life and beautiful family. The...

Our deepest condolence to the Gawad family, and to Suzanne's parents and family. May God's love strengthen you in your grief.

I met Suzanne when I was in college with her sister, Shereen. The two of them were bright and shining and just so fun to be around. She will be truly missed. The world was better for her having been in it. My heart goes out to Suzanne's family, to Shereen, and to everyone Suzanne touched. Our prayers are with you always.

It is so sad to hear of someone so young and talented passing away. May "the God of comfort" be with the family and friends of Suzanne at this most difficult time.

Although we didn't spend time together after elementary school, she always had a smile and a kind word when passing in the hallways in middle and high school. I am so sorry to hear of Suzanne's passing. Please accept my condolences, and many prayers for her family.

I worked with Chef Suzanne a couple of times in the Brick Shoprite. She was an extremely kind women. Very friendly and extremely easy to talk to. My condolences go out to all of her family and loved ones, it is such a horrible loss. We will all miss her dearly.

To the Gawad/Elghamrawi Family: There are no words that can express justly the sadness we all feel for the loss of Suzanne. She was an amazing soul on this earth and will forever be remembered and missed dearly. I know she will be your guardian angel looking over all she loved, especially Sofia and Sonia. Hold dear to the happy memories you had with her. We were all lucky to have had her in our lives, although for too short of a time.
