Ms Gray was my kindergarten teacher and I think about her and how kind she was almost every day. My condolences to Bob and I send all my love

I lived nextdoor to Suzanne and Bob in Oakland in the 80´s. Suzanne was so kind and fun! My condolences to Bob, their daughters and to all who loved her.

As a letter carrier, I got to know both Suzanne and Bob. They were so friendly and outgoing. When I saw them, my day was always brightened. They were a wonderful team, bringing good to all who touched them. Suzanne's wonderful sense of humor, smile and warmth are unforgettable. I remember their kindness and empathy. They even had two of best outside little houses for dozens of books, one for adults and one for children. These books are treasures. Suzanne is a treasure and so is Bob. ...

We love you Ms. Gray. You were the light to all the kids at McNear and we will miss you dearly. You got Audrey out of her shell when all she wanted was to make it bigger. Love, The Atiyeh Family
