Not sure what to say?

It is with deep sadness that we learn of Suzanne's passing .
She contributed, in so many ways, to many lives, and will be dearly missed! We have wonderful memories of Suzanne's flute, creating joy, at the bandstand, at Hastings Park. She was a beloved teacher, and performer, with her beautiful smile.

My condolence to you, Dr. John, and your family.

I remember Mrs. John from my nursery school days and then again in junior high school when I was good friends with Robert/Bob. As a trombonist, I enjoyed talking about music with her, especially because Bob played trumpet and the two of us would joke about PDQ Bach and share an enjoyment of classical music that was pretty rare among our peer group. Mrs. John always was a lovely host and made me feel at home whenever I came over.

I was her first student out of the 250. She had a profound impact on my life, perhaps the biggest impact when I was a high school student in Lexington. I remember the day when I heard a rumor circulating at the town band rehearsal that she might start teaching again. I went right up to her and asked her to be my teacher. A few years later I was touring France with MYWE and playing in the MA all-state orchestra. She gave me her order at Powell so I could purchase a professional flute...

We so enjoyed her music at Hancock. She will be sorely missed. Sending all our love to family and loved ones.
She was a blessing we all enjoyed . Thankyou

Mrs John was a kind, sweet talented musician. She taught my daughter for many years - she will be missed. Sending Special thoughts and prayers to her husband and family.

A moving tribute to an incredible teacher. I studied flute and piccolo under Mrs. John while in high school and college in the early 1990s. Just a lovely soul. Best to you all, may her memory be a blessing.

Oh Dick, we are heartbroken for you and the family.
