KEYSER, Suzanne Carter, born December 13, 1921, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4, 2009, surrounded by her four daughters. Mrs. Keyser, beloved wife of the late Hugh Latimer Keyser and beloved daughter of Robert Kearfoot and Suzanne Villeneuve Carter, is survived by her four daughters, Dianne Wise of Stuart, Fla., Cheryl Shreves of Bethesda, Md., Bonnie Livick of Richmond, Va., and Connie Keyser of Lexington, Ky. Mrs. Keyser is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her long-time caregiver, Shirley Seaborne Williams. Mrs. Keyser was a graduate of Saint Catherine's School, and attended Gulfport College in Gulfport, Miss. She was a member of River Road Church, Baptist, the Country Club of Virginia, the Virginia Museum Council, the Valentine Museum Guild, the Tuckahoe Women's Club, the Virginia Historical Society, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, and the Eleanor Frye's School of Dance. A memorial service will be held at River Road Church, Baptist, on Friday, July 10, 2009, at 11 a.m. for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to River Road Church, Baptist or the Alzheimer's Association.
