Dr. Lawton gave me a constitutional homeopathic remedy that literally changed my life. I was shocked and saddened to hear that we have lost her. When I last saw her in practice, I remember discussing The Golden Compass book that I had read. The movie was coming out, and Dr. Lawton was keenly interested in what it had to say about Christianity. We did not waste words on idle chatter. Even now, it seems as if the ripples that she left in the still waters of my life keep getting bigger.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Dr Lawton's passing. It had been a while since I'd last seen her and had no idea that she was ill. When I learned of Dr Lawton's passing the following verse came to mind:
"Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same." -

My son (age 9) had only two appointments with Dr. Lawton before she left her practice. During those visits I was truly amazed at the way she was able to connect with him through her quiet way of studying him and asking probing questions. He in turn connected with her in a way I have never seen before. It was magical to watch and he remembers the visits vividly as well as the recommendations that she made.

I am so sorry to learn that Dr. Lawton passed away. She was the kindest, best doctor I have ever met. I only saw her a couple of times but her advice and the experience touched me deeply. I can only imagine the loss of those that were close to her. My heart goes out to you.

To my sister,
I am saddened that you were taken from us so soon but I celebrate your life. You have left behind three fine children and touched many lives with your healing hands. I have fond memories of growing up with you.

I have a lot of good memories of Suzanne from when we were kids in Massachusetts and New York - playing tennis, swimming, hiking, celebrating the holidays. Her talents were always something I admired – whether it was making the college tennis team, or being in the student senate, or writing her book on Asperger Syndrome. She probably didn’t realize the number of ways in which I learned from her. My prayers and best thoughts go with her.
