Read MoreI remember Ms. McDougal from her time working in the Philosophy Department. She was super lovely. I was a child, and she took us (her kids and me) to a Halloween event at the War Memorial. She bought us popcorn, which was very sweet. It was a rare treat, such a great day. I don't know that I ever thanked her. I should have. I have fond memories of her and that day.

I am very sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a really nice lady. Both of my parents were philosophers, so I had occasion to see her a couple times a week as a kid. I really enjoyed my visits to the Philosophy Department office.
