Very sad to hear about this when I thought about sending her an email as I was in touch with her until recently. I read about this on NYU Courant's website and was shocked when I read about this. She is one of the greatest professor of all time who always guided me while studying at NYU and also after that. She was very gentle, generous and kind human being. Sending my prayers. Rest in peace professor McIntosh. Thank you for everything you did for me.

She taught me Big data and analytics at NYU. Her course is the reason I choose to purse a career in Computer Science. She was truly an inspiration. It´s sad to hear that such a wonderful human being has left us. My condolences to her friends and family.
