Not sure what to say?

OMG, Jules I am sooo sorry. For the last few weeks I have thought about your mother almost every day and have been meaning to call her. I truly love her. She was such a big part of my life for so many years. As you might remember, we met in Essex when you were renting the strange yellow schoolhouse across the street from the house that I was renting. She was a truly wonderful person. I will miss her a lot. Much love, Valerie

Suzanne was such a wonderful, creative person and a good friend in our (continuing) high school group. We will miss her playful personality and her always fascinating stories during her visits for our reunions.

So sorry for your loss. I believe I remember Suzanne as a classmate of mine at Grant High School, class of 1963. She was vibrant and always friendly. Sue Goldman Solomon Garber Portland, Oregon

My prayers and condolences to her family and friends. RIP Suzanne. Bill Slawson

It was always a positive experience, and more than that, fun! I visited her in New York and Vermont, and always felt welcome and valued. And stimulated! She could talk about her work with distance, critically, never defensively. And never was there I hint of meanness in Suzanne, never a snide comment directed at someone...
