Not sure what to say?

In loving memory of a wonderful person. I know she will be missed. My condolences to the family.

I was shocked to hear Sue´s passing. I have been living overseas and had hoped to see her again soon. I got to know her through my work through SU Abroad and then became personal friend. I will always remember her laughter and great sense of humor. It was always fun to travel with her and her grasp and sensitivity of different cultures made her a valuable colleague in work and great friend in life. I will miss her. My condolences to you Michael and your family.

As (the former) director of the SU Strasbourg program, I worked closely with Sue for many years. She was always my go-to person when dealing with a difficult situation; for I knew that I could count on her not only to give me excellent advice, but to follow through on her end with the solution we had come up with. She also played an important role in the creation of two programs for which I had been the initial catalyst: Istanbul and Wroclaw. Without her efforts, these two programs would not...

Sue was a joy to me and many in her work with DIPA at Syracuse University. Competent, witty, knowledgeable, kind to all. I am privileged to have benefitted through my friendship and work with her. My sincere sympathy to family and friends. Ted Wallin

Sue was a dear friend to me. For 10 years. I lived across the lake from her, we spent time at each other´s houses. We guarded a lot together, exchanging plants, laughing and talking. I will miss Sue in my life. A light has gone out in the world, but now she twinkles in the stars above us. Rest in peace.

Suzy was my muse and editor, and always (or almost always) brought out the best in me for 45 years. Thanks to everyone for their comments. Shane and I are doing well: celebrating the immortal Sue Shane!

I worked with Sue at SU. I always remember her as a lovely person who was kind and caring. My deepest sympathy to you all.

So sad to hear of Sue's passing. Not only was she a great colleague to work with but was an exceptional hostess and help to me and my daughter as we spent a semester in Zimbabwe through the DIPA program. She was a joy!

I´m so very sorry to hear about Sue´s passing. I worked with her for many years. She was so smart, creative and had a great laugh and sense of humor. I´m lucky to have known her and she will be missed. I hope happy memories will give you strength and peace.
