Dr. Verkouw and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I will be forever grateful for Suzanne , and for what she taught me when we worked side by side as hospice nurses. She was a leader and a teacher. She always kept the comfort of her patients as her first priority, and she taught me that skill.
All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Peter and family, please accept my deepest condolences. Suzanne was such a great person, full of compassion, kindness and respect. I met both she and Peter many years ago while volunteering with Anne Arundel Medical Center Hospice Program. A true active listener, always finding a path for us to follow. She had so much patience and caring. Thank you for sharing her with the patients she cared for and for me too. Sending you lots of hugs and warm memories.
