Not sure what to say?

My first OBGYN when I moved to US. She was so sweet and supportive, she had a picture of Mindy on her office wall and she asked me if I knew her, which I didn't at that time. But she was a proud mom and a very nice human being!

A wonderful person and doctor that I still think of and miss! Who misses their OBGYN after so many years? That´s how lovely a person she was. A friend to all. Got me through a miscarriage and menopause and everything in between. My daughter still tells her exciting claim to fame of being delivered by Mindy Kaling´s mom. (How proud she was of Mindy even before her fame!) We still watch The Office and when the Diwali episode comes on I still smile and shed a tear when I see you, Swati...

My sons are now 15 and 11. Surgery 30 years ago made it possible for them to be here. Forever grateful Dr. Chokalingam.

A lovely person whose kindness never failed. Godspeed.

Remembering my good friend Swati, she was a shining light in every way and a wonderful human being.

Dearest Dr Chokalingam:
You were my first OBGYN at St Elizabeth Hospital of Boston :( You worked with my husband (was a surgical resident) and you told me so many funny stories about working as a doctor ( since I was applying for Medical schools) and you used to tell me stories about your children specially your daughter every time I was in your office.
I cannot believe this, I just started watching this show "Mindy's Project" and I kept telling myself how "Mindy" reminds me of...

Dr. Swati Chokalingam was so much more than an amazing doctor, she was also a friend the minute you walked over the threshold. With all the patients she had she remembered every personal thing about me when I walked in the room and we'd resume our chats from the last visit. She delivered my daughter and eased me into peri-menopause. I just found out today that she has passed and I was shocked and saddened. She was a wonderful woman and a wonderful doctor. I am very grateful for the care she...

Just learnt of her passing away. Like many have said, she was much more than just my doctor. She delivered both my daughters and guided me through motherhood with sound advice. I will miss her tremendously.

Still mourning the loss of my friend. Love you always.
