In the heady days of the 1970s at Bucks, Sy introduced me to the wider world of music where I fell in love with material I had not been exposed to before. Thank you, Sy, for the journey.

While attending classes at BC3 in the '80's I worked in the cafeteria. Sometimes when Sy came in for lunch he would have his trumpet with him and Marty would always ask him to play. Sy would oblige an Marty would buy his lunch.
In the 90's, Sy would come into the store I was working in and we would chat about those days and laugh.
Sy was a genuinely nice person and will be missed.
