Mrs. Barr was my sixth grade homeroom and language arts teacher, as well as math, 1970-71. I fondly remember her mod hairstyle and fashion sense, as well as her kindness, and she was a great teacher! Sending belated condolences to her family.

My condolences to Mrs. Barr's family. She was my sixth grade math teacher. Class of 1965.

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Barr´s family. She was my home room and math teacher in sixth grade. She was a wonderful teacher who formed a bond with all her students. I´m happy to hear that she had such a fulfilling life outside the classroom. I know she will be missed.

Mrs Barr was my Sixth grade Teacher at Henry Barnard School in the Sixties. A wonderful teacher who through teaching, stimulated the positive creativity of the learning process in a multitude of children. My deepest condolences to her family........THANK YOU MRS BARR!!!

Ms.Barr was my sixth grade teacher at Barnard Elementary School. She cared for all her students, even though it was the beginning of the Brown v. BOE era. She taught us with her heart and her mind. I wish God's peace and blessings to Ms. Barr's family ....she was a jewel.
