Not sure what to say?

Dear Jacob and Lorne,

Our thoughts are with you.

Cathy, Nick and Mimi

So shocked and saddened to hear of Sybil's death. We were at high school together, and keeners in art class. I've always admired Sybil, her work, and her courage in making her art her profession -- not an easy path.

My sincere condolences to Sybil's family.

Rhoda and Sybil Goldstein as children.

Our deepest sympathies to the families on this most sad occasion.

Sincerely,
Naomi Tencer
and Linda Clayman-Maislin

We were so sorry to have learned about Sybil`s passing. Our condolences go out to the entire family. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief and may you be spared further sorrow.

Deep and sincere condolences to Sybil's son and family and friends. My husband and I are stunned by the news of her sudden death. She was a friend of mine since we were in Kindergarten. I had not seen her in many years cause I live
in California now, and rarely get to Toronto. But we had been a little more in touch, since the 30th Wagar reunion in Toronto, and those childhood/teen year friends stay with you forever in your heart. Therefore, she will always be in mine.

We wish...

I was shocked and saddened to read about Sybil's death, at much too young an age. I hope all your good memories will be a comfort to you all now and in the days to come.

Sybil was one of my very best friends in high school. As a present, she hand-made a leather guitar strap for me in grade 11 - I loved it and I still use it to this day. She was a fantastic friend to have back then - challenging, interesting, full of fire. I remember her showing me a portrait she had done… it was impressionistic rather than literal, and I told her that I loved her interpretation of the face. She then said that it wan't an "interpretation" but that, rather, that was the way she...

My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

I had the extreme pleasure of having lunch with Sybil when I was in Toronto last October. We had not seen one another since grade five which was my last year living in Montreal. I couldn't stop staring at the grown-up Sybil, who, in my mind's eye still looked like the pre-teen I remembered. I told her how very proud I was of all her amazing accomplishemts, and am so glad that I had the opportunity to spend that time with her.
My heart goes out to all who will mourn the untimely loss...
