Not sure what to say?

He was a great man who believed in family and his country .Just loved him for his kind loving ways and the way he treated people. He raised his family the same way he believed

I had the great pleasure of working with Sid and Sharon at the Michener Art Museum. Sid always acted with precision and decisiveness but he balanced those attributes with kindness. His contributions to the community were enormous and his presence will be missed by many.

Syd became one, from a long list whose dedication to this town of Doylestown is felt. He shared his joy of life to all those who would listen and left his mark of kindness, dedication and donations to better enrich our community and its institutions. The choices he made to fund projects and build lasting relationships with our town left enduring goodness. I keep thinking he will walk around the corner one more time. We were fortunate that you stopped here Syd. Peace...

I will always remember Sydney for his involvement and dedication to the scouting program. Both as a cub master and an executive board member. He was great.

I met Syd and Sharon in March of 2010. It didn't take long before I began to see what kind of gentleman Syd was. Over the years, Syd has always been gracious, caring, giving and of course humble. He was always willing to give advice when asked, or if he saw the opportunity to lend it. I'm a better man and a smarter man for having met this gentleman.

Sharon, I always appreciated the friendly and comical banter between the two of you. The love you had for one another will endure...

Sydney was a good man. His smile and joy of life seemed to arrive before he entered the room and shined on all the while, engaging others and wanting all the best. He shared and expressed the desire to make better with all those around him and all things he touched. We were fortunate to have such a kind soul in our small town for he made us all feel important.

So proud to have known Syd Martin-to have been able to call him our very good friend for so many years in Doylestown- our prayers- and hearts are with Sharon and the family— he is with you every day as the sun comes up and the waves wash in and out.
