I just heard about Syd----the world has lost a very special and beautiful person. Syd, Louise Z and I met for dinner several times a year for probably 30 years----over the last couple of years, we played telephone tag, and this past December, my holiday card was returned by the post office--I tried tracking Syd down, to no avail. My condolences to Syd's family. She was the star of our newsroom... full of fun and always with a smile and a warm hello. I remember her with great fondness.

Sydney was won of my moms best friends, Louise Zaccagnino, she would take her on restaurant tasting they always had a great time, she was a wonderful lady,I also have very fond memories of her, as a very giving person, Im so sorry to hear of her passing. Syd was a lovely lady whose smile and laughter lit up the Harrison newsroom every day. Everyone loved working alongside Syd because she was a caring writer and editor. I'm so sorry to hear of her death.
