Not sure what to say?

My heart aches for Sylibia's family. Although we had never met in person, we shared our beautiful grandson, Darien. I had spoken to Sylibia by telephone several times and written to her as well and feel as though I knew her. I felt a deep kinship with her because we were both single mothers during the 70's and had dealt with similar social issues. I found her to be intelligent, witty, compassionate and hard-working. I am very sorrowful that she will not get to see Darien grow up but I will do...

Sylibia is my son's Grandmother. Though we did not know each other very long, I felt very close to her. She was a true lady, and taught me much about motherhood.

While I know she is in a much better place, she is still missed very much, and I mourn that my son had such a short time with her.

(All entries posted here will be printed and put into a scrap book for Darien when he is older.)

SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR LOSS. I WORKED WITH SYLIBIA AT DUKE POWER FOR SEVERAL YEARS. YOU ARE IN MY THOUGHTS & PRAYERS.

I was so sorry to hear from Roxanne that Sylibia has passed away. I knew her at Duke Power. I know she will be missed. I really enjoyed reading all the wonderful things she did in her life. God Bless You and your family as you grieve her passing but rejoicing in her eternal salvation.

We're so sorry to hear of your loss, know that God is still in charge and he is evermore present at this time. He knows your pain and wants you to lean and depend on him for your every needs. We'll keep you in our prayers.

Sylibia was a very special person to me. She gave Lauryn her first book with her name in it. We exchanged pictures until her health failed her. She was the type of person that even when you didn't see her on Sundays, you never forgot her. God Bless the Family of Sylibia.
