Not sure what to say?

Wanda & Family,
My thoughts & prayers are with you in this time. I got to know Sylvan over the last 10-15 years at Berry Hill, what a true gentleman & professional he was. I will miss our conversations & bantering back & forth.

Dear family. I am so sorry to hear of Syl's passing. He and my husband, Pat Barry, played a lot of golf together over the years. He was a great help to me when Pat passed away...such a wonderful, caring man. My prayers go out to you at this difficult time. Your memories and time will help to heal the pain

Dear Wanda, Rick, Tracy, Wendy and Verns brothers and sisters:

I'm sorry that I am unable to come back to St. Louis at this time, but know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Vern was quite a "mentor" to Dave, and I have many, many fond memories, esp of those in the 60's & 70's, of the times Dave spent with Vern, and the help and advice Vern gave to him. Vern was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed but remembered with great love by so many.

May you all...

"WANDA AND FAMILY, My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sadness. Syl was a big part of my life and will be missed greatly. All the years we worked together, the hours spent talking about golf, teaching me, playing together, the laughs, stories of all the trips he took with his family, helping me with my genealogy I could go on and on. He was truly a gentleman, well respected, a wonderful, close friend that will be a hugh void in my life. Memories we will share forever. I...

My sympathy goes to you Wanda and the children, Rick, Tracy and Wendy. There' so much in store for him in his new home in heaven so take heart and know that as a believer you will see and be with him again. Love Janet and Aunt Janet

Mrs Griffith and family, my thoughts and prayers are with your family. I was blessed to have the opportunity to work with Syl @Berry Hill...he was my Friday night entertainment, which always included his love for Golf, family and the many friends/stories he told...I will hold those fond memories, may he rest in peace.

Wanda and Family, Please accept my thoughts and prayers for you during this trying time. Syl was the best at what he did and I always admired him for getting his golf pro status later in life. If it had not been for Syl, I never would be on the golf course as much as I am now and having so much fun with it and I thank him for that.

We're going to miss you, Brother. Will always remember and cherish the good times we had together growing up. Remember when you and I fell off of the chicken house together? and the time you burned your feet on hot coals in the yard, you screamed in pain and Dad thought I had hit you with a hoe I had in my hand? and, oh yeah, remember when we climbed to the top of the huge oak tree in the front yard and it would scare our parents to death? Then we had a lot of good times growing up in...

WANDA AND FAMILY,

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Syl touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
