Sylvan, how I love you and Margie! From the moment I met the two of you, lending your hearts, your time and your love to Special Olympics, you captured my heart and soul. I know you now walk freely without pain and the smile that never left you regardless of what was taking place in your life regarding your health. How I will miss you Sylvan. I love you! Margie ... I am always here for you. I love you too!

Margie, Our deepest sympathies and heart felt condolences. Sylvan was the measuring stick for the retail community. He was a gentleman and a Gentle Man. His word and handshake was all you needed. He was a great mentor and helped get me into the May Company.

I was so saddened to hear of Sylvan's death today. As you know, Sylvan was a very special man and mentor to me during my time with him at the Dallas Market Center. I will never forget the kindness he showed me and the things he taught me about business. He was a great man and will be missed by so many. Many blessings to you during this very difficult time.
