Read MoreI have just read of Dr. Weinberg's passing and sorry to hear it. I worked as an RN for him in his Cardiac Rehab office downtown Dayton. He was truly a genteel, kind man. I learned a great deal about cardiology from him as he was a wonderful teacher and a good boss.
May he Rest In Peace and his family know of his great legacy...

I just read this passing. It is very sad to hear of someone who was so much a legend in the field of Cardiology of being gone. I started working as a RN in the ICU's at KMC and also at Good Sam and remember how much a part of the educational experience he was across the country. He was a gentleman, and truly an amazing man who did so much for his fellow man. May he be resting in peace comfort and everlasting joy in the Arms of God....

I came to know Doc and his daughter Leslie in the fall of 2014. In the short time that I got to know Doc he was sharp and shared his many stories with me. I felt it an honor to know such a distinguished man. Sending prayers to his daughter Leslie as I saw how close their relationship was. Sylvan was my cardiologist for many years. I think he actually saved my life one time when I went to his office at Good Sam North for my almost annual check up. I had a reservation to fly to Scottsdale AZ the next morning for a golf trip.
