Not sure what to say?

I miss Sylvia in so many ways. I miss her candor; she told it like it was. I miss her smile; it could light up a room. I miss her friendship; she had keen insight when I needed advice. I have trouble believing a year has gone by since she "escaped the bonds of earth." God must really enjoy having her in His presence and visiting her in the mansion Jesus set aside for her. I want to live next door someday.

Devastated to hear of Sylvia´s passing. She was an absolute treasure of a woman. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family.

Sylvia was one of the most loving people I have ever met. I enjoyed our time together at WFU. My prayers go out to the family and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. I work at WFU and spoke to Sylvia on so many occasions. She was always so warm and friendly. Prayers for all of her loved ones.

Tim and Elizabeth, I am so sorry for your loss. I've known Sylvia since nursing school days, and we moved to Salemtowne about the same time, and were delighted to "find" one another living here. She was a delightful person, a dedicated nurse, and loved her children. Thinking of you.

Sylvia was a wonderful sister-in-law. Time and space would not suffice for me to list all the acts of kindness he did for us during the 52 years of my marriage to her sister Dianna. We will miss her in many, many ways. I pray that she will put in a good word for me with God. May she rest in peace until the day the sure resurrection of those who have given their lives to Jesus Christ.

I worked covering call and weekends in student health with Sylvia, so sorry to hear of her passing. I have wonderful memories, we laughed a lot, she made work easier for a lot of us. She will be missed, so glad to have had her in my life, prayers for comfort to her family.

So sorry to hear of Sylvia's passing. I worked with her at Wake Forest and continued our friendship afterwards by mail until she became ill. Our deepest sympathy to her family.

Let me offer my sincere condolences for Sylvia's passing. I worked closely with her for many years here at Wake Forest and she was a fantastic person. Praying for you and your family at this time.
