It is so painful to loose a mother. Where once we were the forest we are now the maturing trees. I never knew your mother but after seeing her smile in the paper today, I know I would have liked her. I would have loved to sit on her porch steps, accompanied by flowers, not snow, and listened to her relive her past. I appreciate this more since my own parents have passed away.
