Not sure what to say?

She was a a nice person and a beautiful Miss Universe. I'll remember her ever!

God Bless you Mrs Hitchcock...I will never forget you...I will tell Nicholas when he is older how you saved his Elf with your glue gun, amazing talent, and your kind heart. God speed until we meet again...God Bless all those who loved you. You are forever my Angel...

To Danny and your entire family: I am so sad to hear of your loss.
She was always so kind to me, and fun to be around. Those were some of the best times, that I treasure from my high school days. May you be surrounded by God's grace, peace and love. Always.

Such sad and shocking news! As a member of the PHS class of '64, Sylvia was a shining star in the midst of many high achievers. It was especially nice seeing her at our 50th reunion in May 2014. She's left us too, too early, but will always be remembered as young, vibrant, and with an award-winning sweetness. My sincerest sympathies to her family and many friends.

I was 8 years old watching the MISS UNIVERSE Pageant on TV and she was just stunning! An example for all little girls to want to grow up to be..I saved all the pictures..GOD BLESS HER! I have been thru cancer too, 4 of them..It takes guts and I know she was a BRAVE and Courageous LAdy! I will never forget her ...;)

My condolences. May you find comfort knowing that God is near you and is a refuge during this difficult time.
Psalms 9:9

Hi,
Sylvia.,
It's 52 yrs since our 1st date. You were always in a special part of my Heart. B/c you made it special and it's shocked me to hear that you moved to the place you use to tell me we would all be one day. Based on your belief I had some measure of Spirituality when I was 17. I didn't get to talk you much after I left for UF but I did get a few letters. Then of course we would see each other at some of the reunions. And we talked about your husband's business. You were so...

Deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Sylvia. We were all so proud of her not only for her beauty pageant titles, but because of who she was inside. Beautiful lady and she will be greatly missed. May God Bless the entire Carson/Hitchcock families and Comfort them with His Peace. Fondly, Sandy Allen Oltz

My thoughts and prayers go to the family what a lovely lady as a young girl she taught me how to twirl the baton in south miami heights ,behind the food fair . She will be missed .
