My condolences to the family. Sylvia will be missed by the many friends who knew and worked with her. She loved her family and always spoke fondly of them, sharing pictures at our reunion lunches. Blessings!

Sylvia was always excited about learning. I had the pleasure of being in the same Docent Class at the Springfield Museums as she in the 1980's. No one did as many student and adult tours as Sylvia. Her energy and curosity was incredible! When we had workshops at the Smith Museum, she was first to volunteer to help with the hands-on-project, no matter the topic - from science, history, or the arts.
