Sylvia Frazier was such a "full of life" person. She was a very devoted Christian who managed to help thousands around the world with the Frazier Foundation. I can only say it was a great honor to work for Sylvia on several construction projects. Yet, it was an even greater honor to have Sylvia as a friend of our entire family. I first met Sylvia shortly after Walter passed away. She needed an accountant and her attorney recommended me. She was not only my client for many years, but my friend as well. She was a wonderful caring person and it was a joy to know her. I feel lucky to have had her in my life.

Sylvia helped make my adoption possible from Colorado Christian Services in 1976. Then she came my step in grandparents when they left Colorado for Texas in the early 1980s. She would come to Grandparents Day Lunch every year during my elementary days. Not even close to her house in the valley Sylvia was there for my high school graduation, first wedding, first baby being born. I regret not keeping in touch with her. I still remember making a beeline to her at church, grocery store or the...

My heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones. Sylvia taught me to love horses- and a palomino (Wonder) was my first horse 'crush' on her ranch when I was in grade school. I discovered in my thirties (2007) that the palomino out my back window in the Animas Valley was Wonder, and went to see her with Sylvia. I have many fond memories of her purple room in her house, her apple orchards, and her teaching me how to make baked apples on Sunday afternoons. I send my warmest regards and...
