Sylvia Gobeil

Pembroke, NH - Sylvia Gobeil of High Street, passed away on January 16th at Concord Hospital.

She was born in Concord, NH, the daughter of the late John Luoma and Ethel Hood. Sylvia worked for many years for the Pembroke School District and NH College.

She loved the Red Sox and spending Sundays watching the Patriots with her family. She was an avid and enthusiastic BINGO player.

Sylvia was predeceased by her husband, Lionel Gobeil who passed away in 2022, and 2 sons, Timothy and Daniel Gobeil; and her sisters.

She is survived by her son, Brian Gobeil and his wife Ellen of Franklin; daughter Jill Gobeil and her boyfriend Brian Soucy of Pembroke; 4 grandchildren, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Kevin and Alex Gobeil; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services at Maple Grove Cemetery in Concord will be held in the Spring.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to your local SPCA.

The Waters Funeral Home has the honor of assisting the family with the arrangements.

I think I was in the 7th grade when I met your Mom. She was so wonderful to me, treated me like her granddaughter! She is with your Dad and Danny My deepest condolences to you and your family! I love you!

Aunt syl I will forever miss you and it makes me so sad that you new how things would end up, nobody can ever take away all the love we had for each other . I enjoyed every minute we had together. So much I could say but out of respect for you I will wait till the time is right and say what you wanted me to. I love you till we meet again.
