I am a former classmate of Sylvia Anns at Escambia High School. Also, my father, R. V. Walker was pastor at Canoe Baptist Church where she and her family were members. I often remember the happy times we had at peanut boils at her house. She was a leader at Escambia High School, and I always admired her.
