Not sure what to say?

Diane's long decline and now her passing have been a source of much sadness for me. I want to offer my condolences to her family, especially her five nieces of whom she spoke often and who were truly the lights of her life. Also to her friends, many of whom I know from our years together at St. John´s and from periodic reunions over the 55 years that have followed. We have all lost a brilliant, spirited, compassionate and lovable friend with the passing of our Diane.

So very sad to lose my dear friend, but am glad her struggle these last few years is over. I know Heaven has welcomed her. So many memories starting at 5 yrs old, when she lived across the street-walking every day to ROE together, Mystic summer camp, trips with our families and so many laughs over the years. She will always have a special place in my heart. She was a treasure.

I'm so sad to see this notice of this angel's departure from our realm. She personified so much of what is plain joy and cheerfulness. Though we spent five or six years as classmates, I recall few conversations with her, just awe and fear of refusal. She became a class favorite and appeared thrilled just to be herself. I suppose that appearances are always what we think we see. Life experience has habit of doing that. May her indestructible soul find suitable repose. I offer my condolences...
