Not sure what to say?

Sybil meant so much to my mother and sister, in ways that I couldn't possibly do any justice in attempting to describe. She was a classy lady whom I admired.

I honestly don't have as many specific memories about Sybil as Mom and Em, but I wish I had had the opportunities to create some special memories. I'm grateful I got to spend a weekend with Sybil and Jerry in Harrisonburg before I graduated from JMU. She and I had a great time "comparing notes" about our alma mater over...

Our families are forever intertwined thanks to our mothers. Oh, the memories they shared, and the stories they could tell on one another!

As their love sustained us during their lives, it will continue to do so as long as we keep them close in memory, thank God for them daily, and share the love of family and friends with all of those we come to know on our life's journey.

May the knowledge of just how many share your grief and wish to "lift you up" during your time...

To the King Family: Sybil was an unselfish, generous, loving woman with great drive. - But you knew that!! You shared her - probably unwillingly, with many of us, for so long. I know I, like many Alpha Sigma Tau women, have learned great lessons from her. Dedication, tradition and commitment are all traits she exhibited and for that we will be eternally grateful.

For those who became members, or were members when she was NP and had the privilege to get to know her, she was...

To the King Family, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. The love and respect that many of us have for your mother, our sister, is immeasurable. It is truly an honor and blessing to have known Sybil. She will be greatly missed by many; the heavens now shine brighter because of her.

Sybil was truly an asset to our sorority, and a cherished sister. She so truly believed in the "values of sisterhood" and was an inspiration to us all. May God bless her family with love and strength.

Was it truly chance or a part of God's plan that we bid farewell to such a gracious lady on a day associated with love? Mrs. King's love for her family and her extended family of sorority sisters was evident in every step she took, every smile she shared. She will continue to be an anchor in our sisterhood as we continue the journey of life that she touched in so many ways.

To the King Family: Please accept my heartfelt sympathy over the loss of your beloved Sybil. The sisters of Alpha Sigma Tau are grieving with you and keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Blessings, love and honor to Sybil and Jerry King

Sybil's loving spirit for all whom she met will be with us always. This spirit and dedication to Alpha Sigma Tau and the Alpha Sigma Tau Foundation will guide us in years to come as we continue the work that was such a large part of her life and that of her family. Your participation in her sorority activities was cherished by her and by all who met you at conventions and meetings. We feel the void as you do and know only that our memories of the many good years will eventually ease the...
