Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Levine was my 3rd grade teacher at Alice B. Beal school in 1986-1987 school year. I remember she was also my home room teacher and was in room 8. I remember she let her students paint in the back of the classroom if you behaved. Tootsie Rolls were given if you did well or were quiet when she left the classroom. I´ll never forget that she used to call me Genie. She could be one tough cookie when she had to be. May she rest in eternal peace, until we meet one day, again.

My heartfelt condolences to Lauren and George. Sylvia was a friend for some 70 years. We shared many good times.

Mrs Levine was a wonderful teacher and human being. The static from my hat made my hair wild. She sat me on her lap and brushed it back into shape. And gave out Tootsie Rolls. I´ll always remember her for that. We had great lives back then. Thank you for your kindness.

Nearly 50 years have passed since this fine lady mentored and taught myself and friends at Tiffany St school. She was epic and we mention her all the time. I will cherish all she did to make our days brighter and more interesting. Rest in Glorious peace. A legacy for sure...
