Not sure what to say?

Sylvia was so energetic and ready to help me and sharing her talents. When I became pregnant in 1974,she got the idea to line the walls with beautiful fabric, instead of wall paper. We spent days together on this project. She lived on the street above me and just walked down to my house and there we were!Together, planting, talking, cooking, sharing even picking a name for my unborn daughter. Francie Neiman (Sasha)

I loved Sylvia. I met her 45 years ago in the Hollywood Hills when she was married to Robert. I would very much appreciate it if someone would contact me about this terrible news. I am shocked and so sad. Sasha Neiman 505 699 6125

Sylvia was a wonderful daughter to her mother Pauline, who was my father in law, Howard Everman's cousin. I had been thinking of her and tried to call and was concerned when all numbers I had for her were disconnected. I am so shocked. She was a lovely person and my husband, Ron's favorite cousin.

Sylvia was my first college roomate, a lucky assignment. Later her family kindly took me in until we found an apartment while we worked at the SF airport our sophomore summer in order to finance our dreams the following summer- Sylvia dancing at UC San Diego and me touring Europe. I remember her delight and excitement when we dropped her off for her summer of dance. Sylvia taught me so much about finding and making beauty as a way to approach life. That beauty included flowers, children,...

I will forever remember the sparkle in Sylvia's eyes and her quick sense of humor. What a wonderful person. I am so sorry she is gone.

Thanks, Sylvia.

I knew Sylvia as a colleague during my ten years work as a graphic designer with the Parks Bureau. She was a lovely person, one of the most refined & sensitively intelligent & gentle people I ever met within the Parks group. She was a delight to work with. I am so sorry to learn she suffered a “long illness”.

Sylvia made life worth living. Her sense of humor beguiled her fans, her sense of purpose inspired young & old to do good deeds, her heart was as big as mother earth. Life is different without her.

I knew Sylvia at Metropolitan Learning Center, where she oversaw the SUN school programs. She was absolutely a kind, gentle and reassuring spirit. I am so sorry she has left us.
