Passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015, at the Cartwright Center in Saginaw; age 77 years. Sylvia Scoon was born on February 12, 1938, in Saginaw, MI, to the late Cora (Varney) Scoon and Theodore Scoon. She was married to Richard Moreau on September 21, 1963, he survives her. Sylvia worked for Wickes Corporation and then Wolverine Bank until her retirement. She was a member of the Frankenmuth United Methodist Church and the Frankenmuth Lions Club. She enjoyed playing cards with the ladies for over 50 years.

Surviving besides her husband Richard are 2 daughters: Tina Parks, Patti (Jeff) Lewis; 3 sons: Rick (Linda) Moreau, Dan (Lori) Moreau, Scott Moreau; 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; very loving sister, Avis Leach, and many nieces and nephews.

Sylvia was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Misty Parks, a son-in-law, Tom Parks, and a brother-in-law, Garner Leach.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. The Rev. Scott Harmon will officiate. Sylvia?s family will receive visitors on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Alzheimer?s Association.
