Not sure what to say?

Miss Ready was our 1st grade teacher at Danahy in Agawam in 1961. She was a kind and caring teacher for our class and for the many students that followed in her years of teaching. Many great memories of the class we had. The basics of learning she provided was nothing but the best and in a very special way.

Miss Ready was my teacher at Robinson park school. She was simply the best teacher I ever had. I remember making her a picture the beginning of the school year for her keep so she wouldn't forget about me. To my surprise she kept part of it and gave the other part back to me at the end of the school year with a cute inspirational note. And to this day I still have it. I had a dream last night I went and visited her back in school. Which made me look for her. I am so sorry to the friends and...

Miss Ready was my first grade teacher at Danahy School. I was fortunate to have met her again as an adult, and it was always amazing that she remembered who I was. What an amazing woman inside and out. RIP Miss Ready

Miss Ready was my 1st grade teacher at Danahy school. I can instantly remember those giant crayons, stickers on papers and air raid drills. One of my brothers also had her in 1st grade and she was so worried by his dislike for the school lunch that she used to call our parents. May she rest in peace.

I remember being a part of her 1st grade Saint Patrick's day celebration. Still makes me smile whenever I see it on my grandparents tapes. I love you Sylvia.

Miss Ready was my first grade teacher in her second year of teaching at Danahy Elementary. She is the reason I became a teacher. I taught first grade for 20 years and wrote to thank her for showing me love and helping me to learn. She was very special. May she rest easy in the arms of our loving Lord.

Sylvia was an inspiration and good friend for many years. May she rest in the God who rests in her. Prayers for her family...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Go now in peace faithful friend of God, take our love with you into paradise. God's holy angels will lead you home to the wide waiting arms of the Lord.
