Dear Charlene,

I have been thinking of you all day since I read of your mom's passing. When we would visit she was always so sweet, talkative and interested in all we had been doing. I was just describing her spaghetti sauce to a friend the other day - still one of the best I have ever tasted.

Sorry to hear about Mrs. Reid. She was a very nice lady. Every time I would come over to your house, she always greeted me with a smile and a hug, and always let me play on the swing. I will miss her very much.
