Sylvia was my very special friend and Spiritual Mentor for over 20 years. She is a true inspiration to me and all those that had the great pleasure of knowing her.

Her kindess, love, and friendship will remain in my heart always.

I just learned of her passing on Monday, 20 March 06. I wish I had known sooner because I would have driven 1 million miles to attend her funeral.

My love and prayers to her family and friends at this time.

I will truly...

It is with great sorrow that I heard the news just yesterday of Sylvia's death. We knew eachother for many years and had many marvelous conversations over such a long time. My memories of Sylvia will always be close at hand and I treasure the beautiful picture of herself which she gave me several years ago.

I took ballet from "Miss Sylvia" - many years ago. She was always a lady of grace with a touch of gentle discipline. No matter how many years went by, she always remembered me and was always kind in the grocery store or anywhere else I saw her. She shall be missed.

It is with great fondness that I remember Miss Sylvia. I always looked forward to ballet class, and clearly remember the joy of participating in her productions at Conn College over 40 years ago. My heartfelt sympathies to her family at this difficult time.

Sylvia was one of the kindest hearted people I have ever met. She will be dearly missed. I will forever see her in T.T.'s eyes.........

To the Reynolds family:
Miss Sylvia was my ballet teacher in the early 1960's. Her love of the art of dance gave her the energy to give so much to her students. She taught her students with expectations of them all achieving. Each time I drive by the house that used to be her dance studio in Waterford, I think of her. Her love of dance translated into a love of life. She will always be remembered for what she gave to others. May she rest in eternal peace.

I had the honor of knowing and learning from Sylvia. She was a wonderful person and amazing teacher. I will always remember her. My deepest sympathy to her family.
With Love,
Tara DeNoia

"Miss Sylvia",
You taught me much over the 13+ years you were my dance teacher. I'll always remember your accent and attention to every detail of our performances. I'll always cherish you and those times. I think of you often when I am home visiting. I look at the "little red school house" that is now gray and has had quite a facelift and remember all the good times that we had there. May your family find comfort at this most difficult time.
