Not sure what to say?

Always loved going to the Island in the Summer, and enjoyed my years in Victoria as an adult. Fondest memory was being able to cross between the two yards and see everyone. Lots of old memories. Much water and many bridges. Found my thoughts on her this morning wondering what she would have done with politicians these days as she was well known for her antics of chewing them up and spitting them out. It was like it was her job to keep them humble and on their toes. <3

Sending my deepest sympathy to the family. I have fond memories growing up on Wychbury St. I remember Mimo singing while we all played in the yard together. Rest in eternal peace dear Mimi

We will miss our good neighbour and a true lady. She was always up to a chat and so grateful for anyway you helped her out with in the later years. She was kind to so many, and always looked smartly dressed and had that great smile. She cared about her neighbourhood and I believe was a big part of saving Lampson School from being torn down. Her presence on Wychbury will be missed, especially her driving that yellow van. Penny and Vern Walleen

We are so very sorry to hear of Mimi´s passing. I thought her house looked a little quite lately. Mimi was so kind to us. She bought both my daughters the frilliest dresses when they were born. When they moved in to Guides she was always good for a box or three of Girl Guide cookies. She was always there with a big friendly smile and wave anytime we saw her. She will be dearly missed in the Neighbourhood. Susan, Gus, Alexandra & Lindsay 1163 Wychbury Avenue

I worked with Mimi on the legislature beat for a time. She was formidable! Hard working, smart and had no time for obfuscation or evasion. Very fun and friendly to newbies like me.

I remember Mimi from the times I had to cover the Leg as a reporter for CHEK. She was very kind and willing to help a younger reporter. I was a bit in awe of her. My deep sympathy to her family.

I have fond memories of Mimi from the press gallery at the BC Legislature. She exuded warmth and energy. My deepest condolences to her family.

Thank you neighbours and friends who looked out for Mum. She valued each and every one and enjoyed greeting and sharing with you, your kids and your pets. She loved her neighbourhood.

Sincere condolences to all Mimi's family on her passing. We were across the street neighbors for many years. What a lovely lady Mimi was. I always enjoyed our chats, when we ran into each other. It sounds like you have many wonderful memories to treasure. I will always have the memory of her yellow bus, doggo xx in the passenger seat & Mimi's wonderful smile. Xx
