We called her "Miss Sylvia" - she was so classy and such a diva. Always dressed up, so beautiful. With a smile of welcome and love on her face. When you asked her how she was she always said "I am blessed". She truly was. And we are blessed to have known this lovely woman of God. Gail and Dan, you have been such wonderful support to Miss Sylvia. When I grow up - I want to be just like Miss Sylvia! We sure will look forward to seeing you on the day that Jesus returns. Right now, we...

Sylvia Tufte (Wallace) was my aunt (my mother Martha Olsen's (d) sister) and she was a very wonderful lady.

I can remember as children playing with Sylvia's sons (Randy (d) and Ron) at their house near S. 82nd and Pacific Ave. in Tacoma, WA.
And (of course) I also miss uncle Paul Tufte (d) (her husband of many years). Sylvia's given name was Francis, and she never really liked it, so she changed her name to Sylvia many...

Sylvia will truly be missed by many friends at the Fife Pool. She attended the LAFF class (water exercise) faithfully for 14 years, 3 times a week. She was well-known as a dog -lover, and almost always had Sugar-Babe with her, waiting in the car on her little pillow. I enjoyed being a friend of Sylvia's, and exercising with her at the pool. She was a tremendous lady. Glenna Gessner
