Sylvia F. Wankerl

We can rejoice during this Christmas season knowing Sylvia is looking at Jesus, our Lord and Savior, face to face. She touched the lives of so many while she was on earth. I pray her family and friends have peace knowing she is in heaven.

I came to know Sylvia through Davis Duehr Eye Clinic years ago. Over time I regarded her as a friend. She was a very competent and conscientious contact lens technician wrapping all her services up in a personal package tied with a figurative bow. I learned she was unwell the Fall of 2023. She sent me both Thanksgiving and Christmas greetings which I happily replied to. I sadly learned at today's visit that she passed away in May. I'm so sad to know she is gone. I recall her loving...
