Remembering an icon who left a void in Southern California. When you went to Madam Wu's you knew it was going to be a special experience. On one occasion my elderly parents hosted a surprise party and they were thrilled to meet and take a photograph with Madam Wu. She was a lovely and gracious hostess and will always be regarded as part of Hollywood history. In her honor, I made Madam Wu's beef tonight and it was delicious. Our condolences to her family.

Our family frequently dined at Madame Wu's Garden, for many years. The food and overall dining experience was nonpareil, and Madame Wu was a wonderful and most gracious host. Legendary restaurant, presented by an unforgettable lady who exemplified great nobility.
