T.P. Srinivasan

Knew him since 1959 when I joined the Math Dept of PU Chandigarh.
It was impressive to recall how he was popular in the Punjabi culture and developed long term friendships. I stayed at his house for a night in 2000 when they were getting ready to leave for Palo Alto. We were in touch with occasional phone calls. I will always remember Prof Srinivasan inviting me over for dinner to his house, and also giving first hand news about me to my parents in Chandigarh.
