Not sure what to say?

The news of Tad's death is a shock to me, 10 years after the fact. I knew him in the mid-1970s at Ft. Bragg, NC, when he was a medic for the 82nd Airborne Division of the army. He was brilliant, dedicated, adventuresome, soft-spoken, sweet-natured and gentle, endlessly curious about most things, service-oriented, a pilot, sky-diver, and adrenaline junkie. I grew up with Ruth's children and I am sorry to hear of Tad's death. Prayers to his family. Charlotte (Love) Woods

I am sorry and shock upon hearing of Tad's death. My prayers and love to his family. I was his babysitter for 7 years and remember his bright smile and sparkling eyes. Tad was a very brilliant young man and became very successful in his life. I loved him and his sisters as they were my own children. What a terrible loss.

I worked many years with Dr. Best and was one of the kindest and most giving person I ever knew. He will be missed.

All of us at MHLB ER are saddened to hear of Dr. Best's passing. He was well loved and respected by the ER staff. Dr. Best would bring in his homemade brownies for us, olives that he prepared himself and along with his treats he would bring his sense of humor and fantastic medical skills. Our condolensces to his family. MHLB Night Shift ER Team.

SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT DR BEST WAS A NICE DR TO HIS PATIENT AND FELLOW WORKERS ENJOYED WORKING WITH HIM. GOD BLESS. MARGARET
