Not sure what to say?

Very , very belated condolences on the passing of Tad. I've been going down Memory lane recently and with all of the changes in the Marpole-Oakridge area, I was pleasantly surprised to see Tad's Sporting Goods is still thriving. As a kid growing up in the area, all of my baseball gloves and much of my other sporting goods were from Tad's. I remember Mas Kitagawa coaching our Connie Mack league team with Mickey Yada's brother. We named our 3rd son , Travis Andrew Duncan and planned on...

We have so many fond memories of Tad working in "Tad's Sporting Good's". We looked forward to seeing Tad's happy grin and chatting with him as he went down to his basement to find whatever size or sporting article you may have needed. Our family is so sad to hear of Tad's passing and we wish to extend our deepest condolences to his family, but especially to Mas, his younger brother who Tad partnered with most of their workings days together at the store.
Terrie and Stan Hashimoto& family

Our sincere condolences to the entire family on your loss of Tad. Hope you hold on to the many good memories you have of him at this time. Best regards, Charlene and Bryan Phillips

I proudly purchased my very first fishing gear at Tad's in the 1950's and went to school with his brother Mas and Koichi. All my best wishes to the family. Lorne Nisbet
