Not sure what to say?

A great scientist, and a warm, kind human being. He will be greatly missed, along with his nephew, Scott. This is very sad news too all that were lucky enough to know Talbot.

Talbot was a dear family friend all of my life. It was many years before I realized that he was also one of the pioneers of the nuclear age; to me, he was just one of my Dad's colleagues at the run-down Navy compound next to the sewage plant. There wasn't a pompous bone in his body, and he always appeared to be highly amused by life. RIP, Talbot.

Miss you Dad.

Talbot was the best father-in-law in the world! He was the sweetest, kindest, most generous person I have ever known. I am honored to have been included in his family. He will always be remembered with love.

What a kind, gentle, friendly, genuine, open, good-humored and good-natured, intelligent, interesting, endearing man. Great smile. He always made me feel welcome and worthwhile even (and especially) when I was just a kid. I enjoyed talking with him. To learn lately that he also wrote poetry...ahhh, we'd have had so much more to talk about! God rest and God bless this dear man.

I feel honored to have lived next door to such a great mind, who accomplished so much in life. Fondest memories always of a welcoming home, and walks to school with his daughter, Nancy!

I spent many, many, many hours in the Chubb house and yard growing up in Arlington. It was a warm, friendly, fun and loving place. Talbot you will be missed.

Our Family knew Talbot for many years as a good niehbor a kind and devoted husband and father. He allways had a smile and a kind word. He will be missed by all who know him.

Talbot and I were in the Army together at th Special Engineer Detachment in Oak Ridge Tennessee,1943 through 1945. We were good friends and associates. I always looked up to him, as it was clear rhat he knew much more than me on many subjects. He served as Best Man at my wedding.
