RAY, Tamera June (Bausack) "Tammy" - Of Burton, age 60, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, with her family by her side at Brian's House of Davison. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Revered Desiree Lawson officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Visitation 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Tammy was born in Flint, Michigan on June 26, 1951, the daughter of Thomas and Barbara Bausack and was a resident of Burton all of her life. Tammy graduated from Bendle High School Class of 1969. She was an avid Bingo player at Ben Agree Bingo Hall, loved spending time with her grandchildren and her pets. Surviving are former husband and best friend, Don Ray of Burton; three children, Tonya Ray of Burton, Shelley (Mike) Dimick of Flint and Monica (Frank) Allinger of Goodrich; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Kierra, Sierra, Tony Jr., Braydon, Jaydon, Alyssa and Jacob; two brothers, Terry (Margaret) Bausack of Flint and Dan (Gloria) Bausack of Davison; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; her dog and cat, Snickers and Taz. I am very sorry to hear of Tammy's passing. She is one of the strongest women I have every met. She has a beautiful spirit and a smile I will never forget. I wish I would have been able to attend the funeral, but just found out today. I hope all the family is doing well. There will always be a special place in my heart for her and her family. Today is the first day that I have had the strength to come on here to read all the kind words everyone had to say about you mom. I know that you are in a better place up there in heaven playing bingo... Mom please know that you are loved and missed so much. You will be forever in my heart. May you rest now. They say with time it gets to be less painful. Today I finally had the strength to read all of these post and thank you everyone for your kind words and support. To have you gone now and playing Bingo in heaven puts me at peace knowing now Mom you are now longer suffering. Its seems like yesterday that you were here on earth with us. Mom you will be forever missed and never forgotten I love you right by my heart forever and always! Love always your baby:)

Tammy was a good friend and classmate of mine 7th- 12th while we were in school. I remember her well, very sweet and wonderful person. May God comfort and bless her family. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
