Tammy Davis Deal, 46, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus following a period of declining health. Tammy was born June 25, 1975 to the late Jeffrey Leigh Davis Sr. She was a member of Icards Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and coloring. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her grandmother, Jackie Michaelis; sister, Samantha Davis; and aunt Sabra Morneault. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Wendell Deal; daughter, Jennifer Burleson and husband Daniel; son, William Deal; step-daughters, Wendy Abee and husband Ronnie, and Amy Deal; grandchildren, Kayley, Jensen, Roman, Zachary, and Mylah; brother, Jeffrey Leigh Davis Jr; and aunt Debbie Fortier. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev. Eldon Hinegardner officiating. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service. Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory in Valdese is assisting the family.
