A gathering of family and friends for Tandy Jo Roll, age 71 of Bonham, TX will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Wise Funeral Home. Tandy passed away on January 21, 2019. She was born January 18, 1948 in Bonham, Texas to Otto Bumpas & Mildred Josephine Vermillion Bumpas.


Tandy graduated from Trimble Tech High School in Fort Worth. Out of High School she worked for Cargill Grain in Houston. Later she began her career in the insurance business. For many years, she worked for Farm Bureau and then in 1992 began working with Doris Shockley State Farm in Bonham, recently retiring in 2017 after 25 years. She enjoyed reading and loved her dogs.


Tandy was preceded in death by her parents, Otto Bumpas & Mildred Vermillion Bumpas.


Surviving are her son, Travis Roll and fiancé Bobbie Burk of Bonham; three grandchildren, Alexa Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson and Josephine Lair; sister, Becky Farris and husband David of Ivanhoe; brother, Jack Bumpas and wife Linda of Watauga, TX.; and numerous nephews and their wives.


Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Wise Funeral Home.
